Artist Statement:

“I do both commissioned artwork and autonomous artwork.

In my commissioned work, I take into account the client’s specific needs, as well as the site and space that I have to work with. I enjoy the collaborative aspect of working with clients within the limits of a given space, and indulge in the opportunity to create larger scale work that requires time, precision and imagination.

My autonomous work is sculptural in nature. It is an ongoing experimentation with glass forming processes. In much of my work, I combine glass with other materials, such and steel, wood, concrete, and found objects.”

“Push”, blown glass, steel, and cherry.

‘Ripples'‘, fused and blown glass, steel.
